A Little About MeIf you are here on this page I do not know if you are bored or just curious by nature. I was born in Savannah, Georgia and raised mostly in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After I married I moved to Woodstock, Georgia and for the next eight years around Canton, Marietta and Woodstock. Then I moved to Dalton, Georgia, the Carpet Capital of the World, then back to Tennessee for a few years and returned to Dalton about 23 years ago and have been here since. I am owned by four Chihuahua's and I am an advocate against child abuse and animal cruelty. It is a troubled world we live in where this type of behavior abounds in every level of social society. From rich to poor from educated to uneducated. There are just no excuses for these crimes to still take place in our society today. But it is even more rampant than most want to admit. I ran animal rescue for over 30 years and mostly Chihuahua's and small breed dogs and cats. I did not limit myself to these but it was all I could do to help with these small breeds. Two of my "furkids" came from an abusive environment and were tormented and broken and because of the suffering they went through are classified "biters" so they are not adoptable. So they have remained with me. You will see more of them later on the pets page. I would like to add here that I am 55 years old and I am a 7 time heart attack survivor and as many strokes survivor, glory to God. I am limited in a lot of ways but still have a clear mind and although I can no longer hold down employment and have to watch life go by, at lest I am alive to watch it. Praise the Lord. If it had not been for the Almighty, I would not be here typing this now. The reason I am sharing this is for encouragement to those who may read it and be in a similar situation, that as long as there is life there is hope. And if you really look around with an open heart and mind, there are those who are much worse off who need you to encourage them to keep on keeping on. I was 27 years old when I suffered my first stroke and it was a while before I could talk with out slurring some of my words. That stroke was brought on by a sudden and stark raving fear! Anyway, enough about me boring you! Please continue looking around my site and come back often and see what is new. Thank you for stopping by.
